Managing Partner
Andrej Fajfar
Andrej Fajfar has over 30 years of experience in building and managing successful software and tech consulting companies, as well as experience in the field of M&A. As a student of mathematics and computer science, he co-founded ADACTA and bootstrapped it to become a regional tech leader with 500 employees and 7 offices in 5 countries. As the managing partner of ADACTA Group, he focused on organizational development, key talent management, M&A, and finance. ADACTA’s growth was organic with some successful acquisitions and integrations of smaller companies.
He worked with customers from various industries and was involved as a steering committee member in many projects for top-tier clients in Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, the UK, and Serbia.
In 2019, the part of ADACTA that was focusing on Microsoft business applications was carved out and sold, with Andrej Fajfar leading the M&A process on behalf of the sellers. Today, it is successfully operating as BE-terna Adriatic (now part of Telefonica Tech)
For a short time, Andrej Fajfar was also responsible for the strategic alliances of BE-terna Group, including the alliance of BE-terna with Microsoft Germany. In 2020, Andrej Fajfar fully exited ADACTA and spent several years as an independent consultant in the field of M&A working with private equity companies and company sellers. His main focus areas were tech due diligence, HR due diligence, business planning, strategy consulting, and post-merger integration.
Grega Bernard
Managing Partner
Grega Bernard has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He began his career at Microsoft, where he advised large clients on Microsoft’s product portfolio and optimal licensing. He continued his career at Avtenta, where he performed various sales functions; as a key account manager and consultant, he ensured satisfaction and sales of IT business solutions from Avtenta’s portfolio to key customers. He became well acquainted with various IT business solutions from established global providers such as SAP, Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, etc. He participated in the implementation of various business models for end customers in the fields of outsourcing, cloud solutions, and complex IT projects.
In 2014, he joined the management team of MARG, an already established provider of its own products for digitizing various content and business processes. He first took care of sales, and later took on other management tasks of the company, and in 2016 he became the director of the business area. With Adventure’s acquisition of Margis in 2017, Bernard became the director of MARG, which he has successfully led for seven years in a row. The company under his leadership achieves double-digit growth every year and reaches new milestones.
Recently, Bernard has been actively involved in potential acquisitions. At the beginning of 2023, MARGIS successfully merged with Imaging Systems d.o.o. The merger provides numerous synergies and added value for both the joint company and the expansion of the portfolio of offers to existing and new customers.
